Moosh Hair Studio
As most would know, after I had my baby Cash, I dropped a lot of my services and have only been offering my styling and photography services. But when your bestie and owner of Moosh Hair Studio decides to move to a much bigger space for her growing hair salon business you have to pull out all the skills.
Tegan had a clear vision for how she wanted the new salon to look and I helped her bring it to life ... with multiple moodboard changes and a lot of searching for the perfect pieces at the right prices this is the end result for the new Moosh Hair Studio fit out:
Want to shop the look? ... we've listed all the 'pretty' stuff below.
1. the desk/counter was made by Knots & Grains 2. the wallpaper! which I just know we are going to get asked about the most, is available from Affordable Decorators in Bundall, it's called: La Palma by Catherine Martin. 3. the print is of course a Jai Vasicek piece (which was the only thing we HAD to bring from the old salon) 4. the oval dining table (also known as 'the waiting station') is by The Beach Furniture. 5. love me some 'wishbone' chairs, these babies we scored from Pillow Talk at a great price 6. the mixture of rattan pendant lights are from Uniqwa Furniture.
If there's anything else you see in the salon you would like to know more about, don't hesitate to get in contact.
Now of course ... when I said all the skills, I didn't just mean the 'Interior Design' skills ... the business has been operating for just over 2 years now, and the branding was ok, but I felt it should all be new, fresh with the new salon location. So we gave the whole business I big Re-Branding. Bringing out the 'Graphic Design' skills for everything from signage, business cards to new logo colours and a fresh new website with a lot more packed into it (and more to come).
Check out the new Moosh Hair Studio website here:
It was built with Squarespace, my absolute favourite platform to work on. All websites need to be mobile friendly these days ... but being a Hair Salon, nearly all website users are on their phones, so it was most important that the mobile website looked it's best.
Here is a peek into some of the re-branding, logos, signage, business cards, and social media elements. (all the printing is by Summit Press Printing in Tweed Heads)
Instagram story elements and other details for the website:
And the last skill ... 'Photography', I photographed the team, profile shots for all and group shoots, to be used on the website ... but also extras for when say, they win a 'top 10' spot on Gold Coast's Best Hairdressers list ;) ... I also photographed the new salon and other 'detail' photos for the website.
My gosh, did a enjoy myself working alongside my girl the last few weeks and helping her dream come to life ... but it also made me realise I really do love, doing it all ... and maybe I can still be offering my other services ... so if you are wanting the 'whole package' Interior Designer, Website Designer, Graphic Designer and Photographer ... to launch a new business or to give an existing one a fresh new look, don't hesitate to get in contact. (projects like this, I will be limited to taking on only one at a time, my styled photo shoots are still no. 1 priority)
If you haven't already ... go book your next hair appointment at the new Moosh Hair Studio, I'm sure you are busting to check it out in person ;) .
