Hi, I'm Tanika.

I'm an architecture, interiors and hospitality photographer with over 13 years of experience creating imagery for designers, architects, builders, developers and leading hotel brands throughout Australia and internationally.

What began as a passion for interiors and design has evolved into a business that allows me to work with some of the most talented people in the industry, capturing everything from luxury hotels and resorts to beautifully designed homes, commercial spaces and accommodation properties.

Over the past four years, hotel photography has become a major focus of my work. I've worked extensively with Accor Hotels, photographing properties across the Novotel, Pullman, Mercure, The Sebel, Mantra and Peppers brands throughout Australia and overseas. This work regularly takes me interstate, providing the opportunity to capture a diverse range of spaces and guest experiences.

Based in the Northern Rivers, I regularly travel between Byron Bay, the Gold Coast and Brisbane, while also working on projects across Australia.

My background in interior design, styling, marketing and graphic design gives me a unique perspective behind the camera. I understand not only how a space should look, but how imagery will ultimately be used — whether that's on a hotel booking platform, social media campaign, website, magazine feature or marketing brochure. Every image is created with purpose, ensuring it connects with your audience and showcases your brand in its best possible light.

One of the things that sets my business apart is that all editing is completed in-house. Every photograph is personally reviewed and finalised by me, ensuring consistency, quality and attention to detail across every project.

While the business has grown over the years, I still remain heavily involved in every shoot. In 2022, photographer Mathilde Bouby joined the team and after years of working alongside me as a second shooter, editor and assistant she has stepped in to lead the videography side of the business. More recently, Kelly joined us, assisting on shoots and helping with editing. Together, we've built a small but passionate team that allows us to take on larger projects while maintaining the personalised service my clients know and trust.

When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me renovating our family home (check out our new project here), exploring the outdoors with my partner and children (we spent 4 months travelling Australia in 2024, see our adventures here), or enjoying a long lunch somewhere beautiful with my girlfriends.

I genuinely love what I do and feel incredibly grateful that my work allows me to combine creativity, travel, design and storytelling every day. Whether I'm photographing a luxury hotel, a thoughtfully designed home or a commercial project, my goal remains the same: to create imagery that captures the essence of a space and helps my clients stand out in a competitive market.

Throughout her career, Tanika has been trusted by leading designers, architects, and hospitality brands to photograph projects across Australia and internationally. Her work has taken her from Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Canberra, Tasmania, and North Queensland. And Internationally to New Zealand in 2025, where she photographed hotels throughout Christchurch and Lake Tekapo.

Over the past four years, hospitality photography has become a major focus of the business, with extensive work completed for Accor Hotels across the Novotel, Pullman, Mercure, Mantra, Peppers and The Sebel brands. These assignments have seen Tanika travel regularly throughout Australia and overseas, creating imagery for some of the region's most recognised hotel and resort destinations.

She has also been commissioned to photograph projects for respected design studios and brands including Design Scout Interiors, Gray Puksand, Briellyn Turton Interiors, and The Modern Furniture Company.

One of the greatest rewards of Tanika's career has been seeing her clients' projects featured in leading design and lifestyle publications around the world.

Her work has been published both nationally and internationally, including a feature in the UK edition of Elle Decor. In Australia, her photography has appeared in The Local Project, Inside Out, Australian Traveller, House & Garden, Queensland Homes, Home Design Australia, Adore Magazine, and on the renowned interiors platform The Design Files.
