What to ExpectTanika and her team have had extensive experience photography hotels over the past 4+ years for Accor Hotels across Australia and internationally. Capturing both still and video for Novotel, Pullman, Peppers, Mercure and Mantra brands.
This work has seen Tanika and her trusted assistants travelling to Cairns, Palm Cover and Port Douglas. Perth, Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney. New Zealand, as well as of course photography a lot of hotels locally along the Gold Coast, in Brisbane and in Byron Bay.
It is Tanika’s background in interior design, and photo styling abilities that sets her apart in the Hotel Photography industry, her ability to use lifestyle styling to add that mood to her photographs is what has her clients coming back over and over again. As well as her extensive use of natural sunlight or mimicking natural sunlight when needed.
Tanika will pour over the floor plans of the hotel, looking at the sunlight direction for every room and space, and writing out a schedule that best uses the natural sunlight for each space in the time allowed for the shoot.

Tanika won’t come to your hotel shoot alone, she’ll bring Mathilde or Kelly or both. Mathilde has worked for Tanika for the past 4+ years, Mathilde has now taken on most of the videography work. Kelly started with the team in mid 2025, she has been a joyful addition to the team. Both experienced photographers are able to read Tanika’s mind, and know what she needs when she needs it.

Colour GradingNot oversaturated or washed up, a happy middle grown, a good representation of what the actual space looks like in person.
Clean Up Cleaning up any of those bits and pieces that comes with a hotel that’s been opened for a while.
Adding styling elementsWanted wine in the glasses, didn’t have any wine? … we’ll use water and colour it later.
