Product Photography
Beautiful product photography is about more than simply showcasing a product—it's about telling a story, creating desire and building a connection with your audience.
With over 13 years of experience working with brands, designers and businesses of all sizes, Tanika Blair creates thoughtfully styled product imagery that captures attention and reflects the personality of your brand. Whether you're launching a new collection, refreshing your website, creating content for social media or developing a larger marketing campaign, every image is carefully crafted with your goals in mind.
From concept development and location sourcing to styling, creative direction and final image delivery, Tanika loves collaborating with clients throughout the entire creative process. Her background in Interior Design and passion for visual storytelling allow her to create imagery that feels polished, intentional and aligned with your brand identity.
Whether photographed in-studio, on location or within a carefully curated lifestyle setting, each product is captured with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring it looks its absolute best. The result is a collection of professional, on-brand imagery that not only showcases your product, but helps your customers connect with it.
From small businesses and artisan makers to established national brands, Tanika works closely with each client to create imagery that elevates their products and supports the growth of their business.
One of my favourite projects to work on is creating lifestyle product imagery for The Modern Furniture Store. For this Brisbane campaign, we hired a beautiful home through Pure Locations and spent the day transforming each space into a carefully curated setting that showcased the furniture in a natural, lived-in way.
I have been photographing The Modern Furniture’s stores around Australia over the past 12 months, and I was so glad they asked me to now also do their lifestyle product photography. This was a 10 hr day. We hired Honey House for the shoot, and had the help of 3 team members from The Modern Furniture, plus myself and Mathilde to make this happen on the day. We ended up being able to capture over 100 photos, and deliver 8 videos. Of course Mathilde and I took on the stylist roles and lighting technicians. The Modern Furniture aim to do one of these lifestyle shoots per quarter. We are excited to see what we do next with these photo shoots.
It’s all smokes and mirrors baby … don’t have a photogenic bathroom? No worries, I created these different looks around my own home, as much as I try to keep my styling chaos for a shoot in my actual studio, it always spills into other rooms of my home … depending on where the natural light is hitting and what texture from my exisiting furniture I am wanting to use.
These beautiful cosmetic bags are by Pip and Haze, we loved getting to have a little fun and be creative for this colourful brand.
I absolutely loved being back in the colourful home of Gemma Peanut, to style and photograph this delicious product by Frankie Gusti.
I was asked to style a videography shoot for Designer Rugs, and it was so much fun … you could imagine my excitement, being the big colour lover that I am, and the maximalist attitude Designer Rugs has, I was in heaven planning this shoot, sourcing all the props, and bringing it all together on the day.
After doing lifestyle photography for Sienna’s new interview series, I was so thrilled they asked me to shoot their latest campaign.
We used our favourite studio, 11 Past 11 Studio

This product photography was completed in my own photography studio. The Munchkin & Bear team sent me the products, a shot list and examples of what they were after. I took care of the rest.
A fun product shoot, for OSO Skincare (Other Significant Other), under Caramel Creatives’s careful direction.
I am so thankful to the Melbourne based Advertising agency, Caramel Creative, for reaching out to me to be the stylist, lighting technician and photographer for this project.
With a BIG thanks to my talented friend Erin Forbes for her styling assistance on the shoot, beauty/skincare expertise and hand modelling skills.
This shoot took place over 3 locations … Elena House in Brisbane … Ewart St Airbnb, and in my own newly renovated home.
Arggghhh I love this women and her beautiful collection of homewares, another fun shoot for House Society … especially loving the new incense collection.

Such a fun shoot to capture these bright vibrant picnic rugs for Emro Designs.

Flat lays and detail photography for a beautiful new fabric business, Surface Textiles based in Brisbane.
Backdrops/prop hire and styling all apart of the service.
I have been working with this talented team in their office/studio in Brisbane bringing to life their fabrics in ‘room’ settings, but for this shoot they simply posted the fabric samples to me, and I used my own home photography studio to create these shots (using props I already had on hand in my studio).
Introducing Acacia Textiles! ... fabrics, fabrics and more fabrics, an absolutely beautiful collection and such an awesome project to work on with Laura, Susi & Valerie ... seeing their vision come to life, fabrics they have been working on for so long ... finally put into a room ... on a bedhead, made into curtains, upholstered on sofas and more ... the planning for these shoots started back in 2019
This skincare collection has been years in the making and it’s so close to launching, it’s definitely going to be one to watch.
I had an absolute ball creating these photos for Cosmology’s branding.
Urban Road’s latest collection has just launched … and this could well be my favourite collection to date!
I highly recommend heading over to their website to have a good browse.
The styled shots for this collection were mostly captured on a one day photo shoot at the stunning Byron Bay home of Alex Bennett Design.
House Society … my gosh what a store! … I was so thrilled to work with Jessica Pulijich on the launch of her first online furniture and homewares store. I very skilled Interior Designer that was a unique and interesting take on the world of interiors. We (especially here in Australia) needed a store like Jess’s.
An exciting styled photo shoot, and the third time I have worked with Shaynna Blaze, thanks to my ongoing work with Urban Road. Their latest collaboration together titled 'In Plane View' is a stunning collection of moody tones, representing the view from the plane window on Shaynna's travels around the world.
I've enjoyed working with Urban Road on all their photo shoots to release their new collections since 2014. But the most exciting has definitely been the photo shoot they flu me to Melbourne for, to shoot with Shaynna Blaze on their collaboration collections. We shot in one of Shaynna's homes, I still styled the shoot, I was full of nerves but so happy with our end result.
I was so happy Amanda of Cabin Co asked me to visit her home in Launceston, Tasmania so that we could work together on the photo shoot for her first winter collection. She had a clear vision for how she wanted to see these new products she had worked so tirelessly and passionately on.
