BURLEIGH HEADS INTERIOR DESIGN PHOTOGRAPHY FOR KILN DESIGN
Kathryn of Kiln Design is based in Canberra, and this is her second project here on the Gold Coast that she has asked me to photograph for her. She’s been one of those people I meet and instantly felt like i’d down her for years. Such a pleasure to work with, and I’m so glad she fly up again for this shoot, to do the shoot with me.
We meet at the property before sunrise, to go over the shoot plan, and be able to get started as soon as that morning light hit. The focus was on the kitchens and bathrooms, as Kiln Design did all the finishes and fixtures.
Using a variety of natural sunlight and photography lighting of this project, see if you can pick which photographs I have used natural sunlight and which photographs I have used photography lighting for.

I was thrilled to be asked by Katherine, of Kiln Design, to not only photograph this project for her, but also source and provide the styling (Katherine is based in Canberra, and flu up for the shoot day, so it just made more sense for me to do the styling for this one).
The home was empty (and part of it still a construction zone) … but you wouldn’t know would you? … very happy with our efforts, to capture this project before the home owners were moving in.
Another cloudy day for this shoot (which I love, when the view isn’t needed for the client) … we were able to use my professional photography lighting to add more lighting were it was needed (usually outside, aimed through windows, so it looks realistic).
Such a beautiful project in Burleigh Heads. Head over to Kiln Designs website to see more.

The stools were hired from Tailored Space Interiors, every other ‘prop’ is from my own collection (my car was very full! haha)
