Repeat customers are always exciting, I’ve photographed this beautiful little family 4 times now. Every shoot has been so different and special in its own way. It’s so hard to know what you are going to get each outdoor shoot as the weather has been especially hard of late, but we were so happy the sun finally broke through, and the wait was worth it.
The biggest advice I can give for a family shoot is just to PLAY! Be all in the moment, enjoy this in-interrupted time to be really be present with your loved ones and enjoy every minute.

For a variety of reasons, we opted to do this shoot at home. We planned for a sunrise shoot on their balcony, but the weather was overcast and we just couldn’t keep putting it off. I am so happy with what we were able to achieve when this Mumma was dreaming of a sunrise beach session … all the moody feels, and it was all meant to be. A beautiful pregnant Mumma, radiant … so close to welcoming her second born.
Don’t miss out on those pregnancy photos (I did and boy do I regret it) … you’ll want to remember your amazing body, creating life inside of you, it’s certainly something to document. Don’t give up, get those shots! (no matter the weather or circumstances, make it happen)

A perfect winter afternoon, for this newborn photo shoot … a 2 week-old and a 2 year old. So special and such a joy to capture.
Getting your family shoots looking lovely like this, is a real team effort, I offer all the advice but the parents really have to pull it all together … from getting the outfits sorted, to trying the best to have everyone in a good mood for the time of day best for the natural sunlight in their chosen location. I will help in every way I can, but I definitely can’t take all the credit, these guys did amazing, and they really made the shoot work.
Beautiful weather, children with full tummys, all rugged up nice and warm … and you’ve got a winning combo right there.
