Interior Photography for Gold Coast Renovation Company, 4D Renovations of their Del Mar project
4D Renovations are one of my oldest clients, and seeing this project was incredible to see how far they have come. From doing tiny little bathroom renovations, to these huge whole home renovations I'm so proud to be apart of their big beautiful business journey. This project we are excited to share will be getting published with on of Australia’s leading interior design magazines. We can’t wait to see it in print. (and yes this is something I offer, and always hope I can do for my clients, proud to say I made this one happen).

This beautiful home in Tallai on the Gold Coast was a joy to photograph, with such stunning finishes.

Gold Coast Lifestyle Photography for Kirra Point Holiday Apartments
A pleasure to be asked to stay at Kirra Point Holiday Apartments, and capture my young family enjoying these beautiful apartments, and facilities. My favourite place in the world is Kirra Beach, my local, where I’ve grown up, all my best memories at this beach.
The kids did so great with their modelling once again. The combo of directing your own kids, rather then children you don’t know, I find works really well, or my kids are just quite experienced with this? either way I’ll take on more of these shoots any day.

Gold Coast Interior Photography for Next Level Cabinets of their Coolangatta Home project
A pleasure to capture this beautiful home, so filled with natural sunlight for Next Level Cabinets. I spent a full day at this location, to make sure of all of the natural sunlight. I also styled the space, bringing with my boxes and boxes of props, as the home owners had only just moved in. Photography a build freshly built is always helpful, but can lack in styling, I am always happy to bring along styling pieces.

Gold Coast Interior Photography for The Good Tradie and Form + Fellow
Another shoot for The Good Tradie and Form + Fellow team. The home owners were so beautiful, and made this shoot go that much smoother, waking up at 4am for us to be able to do photograph their Gold Coast apartment in Main Beach.
Gold Coast Interior Design Photography for Kiln Design of the Maureen Project
Another stunning project by Kiln Design photographed on the Gold Coast. This Canberra Interior Designer is so amazing to work with.

Gold Coast Real Estate Photography for Whitefox Realestate
This beautiful Palm Beach newly renovated home was a pleasure to photograph for Whitefox Real Estate. The owner, Lauren had done an incredible job of styling this home ready for sale. And the renovations were stunning!
We spent 6 hrs at this home (with assistant Kelly in tow) there were 24 spaces in total to capture, I was able to capture and deliver 60 photos for the 6 hr shoot package (no additional costs for this one, as the styling was so great and so easy to work with, meant we were able to achieve a lot more then usual). And also there wasn’t any complicated editing to do.
You can check out the listing (as this house is currently for sale) here.

Bilinga Interior Photography for an Airbnb by Ranger Property
A beautiful location for Ranger Property’s newest airbnbs, these beauties are side by side in Bilinga, QLD.
I work with such talented creatives, and Tanya from Ranger Property is one of them, she puts her airbnbs together so wonderfully, with so many lovely little touches … it’s up to me to use the iPad and tweak every styling detail for each angle/shot … to really bring her vision and the look and feel of the property to life.
The clients that allow the time to do this, are so thankful for the style tweaked photos.
Having a background in interior design has definitely given me an advantage to understand styling for the interior environment, I’m just generally obsessed with the industry anyway.
Currumbin Interior Photography for Interior Designer, Bligh Ramsey
I was in love as soon as I walked through the doors of this property in April 2024, Sarah had done such a beautiful job of the interiors, a quick 3 hr shoot turned into a 5 hr shoot, as I just couldn’t help myself, there were so many stunning angles.
I would love to see this gorgeous project of Sarah’s published in print, so sending all the good energy out there that I can make that happen for her.
We love showing off this beautiful project. We shared a reel on instagram, head on over there to take a look into what goes into this kind of shoot 😊
Gold Coast Architecture and Interior Photography for Builder, Highlife Homes
Gold Coast Architecture and Interior Photography for Highlife Homes.
We will always be flexible for weather, and rearrange shoots for optional weather conditions but sometimes the show must simply go on because the clients needs the photos ASAP.
We were lucky on this shoot day, that the thick cloud cover broke at different times and we were able to capture the way the sunlight was hitting the home. I had to be fast, set up whatever we could while the cloud was there and just be ready to get each shot quickly when the clouds decided to give us a break 🙌🏼
I use Willy Weather and the BOM Gov app to keep a close eye on the weather always, and know when and if the cloud cover is going to break with enough time to capture some golden magic. I also use the Sun Surveyor app to help me predict where and when the sun is going to hit (to plan my shoots but also on the shoot)
This 3 story townhouse, was captured in complete in 7 hrs.
I absolutely love teaching my interior photography skills to my mentoring students. It’s been such a joy I didn’t know I would love so much, realising just how much I have learnt in the last 10 years and how much I have to share.
Tweed Heads Architecture and Interior Photography for Tiny Home Builder, Coast Modular
Take a look behind the scenes, as I play with lighting and styling props to get the shots just right, on my Instagram @tanikablair_photography
I’ve photographed 2 of Coast Modulars tiny homes so far, and looking forward to the next one (which is a 2 bedroom modular home).
We were able to use natural sunlight on the one of these, the first one was still in the working shed, when we photographed it, hence the need to fake the sunlight. I can’t wait to show off what this exciting new business has been working so hard on .
Rainbow Bay Interior Design Photography for Design Scout Interiors
Timing is key, we arrived to this beautiful project of Jacinta’s before sunrise, to be mentally prepared for the day ahead, quick coffee and chat as we walk around, to get a good feel of each room, and where the sun was going to hit at what time (a floor plan wasn’t supplied for this photography job, hence the need to get a walk through before we started).

Trying to decide on the compositions for each room, for these kinds of stunning jobs is extremely hard … to try to simplify it, and not over shoot. I could have been there for 3 days to get perfectly styled shots of every composition, in different lighting settings.
So it’s finding the very best, trusting your creative judgment, and going with it with out getting overwhelmed of the many shots that are possible.
Trying to focus on your client in particualr (and not the other businesses that could be purchasing after the shoot) and what their marketing needs are.
Mermaid Waters Project Photography of The Jade House by Interior Designer, Design Scout Interiors
How amazing is this bathroom!!! … but this space gets zero natural sunlight, I knew I needed to do my best to light this room in a natural way, to really get the true colour of the tiles.
How amazing is this bathroom!!! … but this space gets zero natural sunlight, I knew I needed to do my best to light this room in a natural way, to really get the true colour of the tiles.
In the end I use a continuous light outside, and aimed it in to the room, on to the gold reflector, to bounce a warmer light around the room. I didn’t want to busy the space with too many shadows, just wanted a nice warm light to enhance it’s overall look.
Professional photography lighting gives you full control over the light in order to achieve the desired texture and colour on your subjects. You can manipulate the lighting to create dramatic shadows or achieve a diffused and soft look. It’s all about shaping the light to enhance the overall mood and aesthetic of the room.
BONUS TIP
Getting the composition right with my camera on my tripod … having the ipad tethered to my camera, so I can see live what is happening through the lens … means I could stand outside with the light, and move the light around (while holding the iPad) to see exactly what the light was doing in real time, so I could ‘style’ the light exactly how I wanted it. (No running back and forth from the camera to the light, to check and change the lighting).
