How amazing is this bathroom!!! … but this space gets zero natural sunlight, I knew I needed to do my best to light this room in a natural way, to really get the true colour of the tiles.
Read MoreA 2 day shoot to capture this beautiful home by talented Interior Designer, Primrose Interiors.
A colourful, warm, joyful family home that was a highlight of 2022 to photograph.
Read MoreWhat do editorial style photographers do, that real estate photographers don’t.
Now I’m not saying all real estate photographs, but the low budget real estate photographers, are generally not going to do the following, and an editorial style photographer will (and I always will):
1/they’ll get to know you ahead of the shoot, and what you are really hopping for out of the final photos of the property.
2/ asses the sunlight direction, write out a shoot plan, with the sunlight being the no. 1 priority … this means capturing the property in it’s best natural sunlight scenes.

Read MoreMy gosh have I enjoyed working with Bhodi these past few months … we’ve captured 3 of his stunning interior design projects together. He is just as much of a perfectionist as I am, we are taking our time, styling every little detail to camera … and wow! we are both so happy with the outcome. Very much a collaborative effort.
I’m absolutely honoured to photograph Bhodi’s interior design work, an emerging Gold Coast interior designer with so much talent that is doing stunning work.
The below project is the second one we captured together, it is a Broadbeach apartment. We had another perfect cloudy day for the shoot, defusing the light beautifully, and allowing me to use just one photography light, so we could control the lighting so nicely.
Check out more of Bhodi’s work here.

Read MoreI was thrilled to be asked by Katherine, of Kiln Design, to not only photograph this project for her, but also source and provide the styling (Katherine is based in Canberra, and flu up for the shoot day, so it just made more sense for me to do the styling for this one).
The home was empty (and part of it still a construction zone) … but you wouldn’t know would you? … very happy with our efforts, to capture this project before the home owners were moving in.
Another cloudy day for this shoot (which I love, when the view isn’t needed for the client) … we were able to use my professional photography lighting to add more lighting were it was needed (usually outside, aimed through windows, so it looks realistic).
Such a beautiful project in Burleigh Heads. Head over to Kiln Designs website to see more.
